Our shutters are the most durable in the industry. But just like your car, they require periodic maintenance.
Every two years, the wheels should be lubricated, tracks cleared of debris and locks should be inspected and replaced if necessary. After ten years, this service should be performed yearly.
As soon as a storm is predicted to head our way, check all your shutters. Be sure accordion shutters will close and lock properly. Check roll-up shutters to be sure they travel freely. For panels, be sure you have all the parts of the system and that there are no defects in the attachment screws.
The reason you have shutters for your property is to protect yourself and your belongings. Making sure your shutters are in good working condition is the best way to ensure you will be safe in a storm.
